Ranma Rancher/Lamp Of Mihoshi: Just as long as it isn't a cat. or a suezo. or a... [Episode 74587]

Ranma glanced up to see something yellow falling towards him.

When he saw the thing clearly, instead of fleeing the impact point only one thought echoed through his head.

"That's gotta be the silliest damn looking thing I've ever seen."

WHAM

"Well, he had several ancient and rare discs, and his ID says he's a newly licensed Monster Rancher, but your Suezo landing on him seems to have scrambled his memories a bit."

"Oh great," groaned the trainer. "A newbie and he's been injured by a Suezo going nuts on a training course. What can I do to keep this from going on my record?"

"You'll have to oversee the boy's training. Or girl's training. He turns into a girl with cold water, hot turns him into a boy. He says he's a boy but that might be more damage from the fall," said the Professor of Monsterology.

"So we'll stick him in that one training area," said Cesare, adjusting his collar. "It's empty now. You'll just have to go by and see what help this 'Ranma' needs. It's your fault for his injury anyway."

Ranma was a little unhappy.

Here he was, catapulted into a strange universe by his uncute fiancee, and martial arts were (as near as he could tell) unknown here.

In order to even start a school or teach it here, he'd have to prove there was some value in the idea. Which apparently meant training monsters for a living.

One of the people from around here stuck her head in the door. "Any time you're ready, Mister Saotome. Choose one and put it on the altar there. As soon as we've gotten your monster ready, we'll take you out to your new home."

Ranma frowned and shook his head. He was going to have a pet, huh? Just his luck it'd turn out to be a panda, pig, duck, or c-c-c-thing like Shampoo turned into.

The reddish one, the bluish one, or the rune-ish one?

"Well I can always sell it if it's one of those ugly lookin' one eyed things without the legs," reasoned Ranma. "Whatever it is, it can't be as scary as some of my fiancees."

"Anytime, Mister Saotome," called out a voice from the control booth.

"Yeah, yeah," grumbled Ranma. He'd save the rune-looking one for later. Same with the blue. That way he'd make all his mistakes learning this stuff with the girly looking stone.

The crystal clicked into place and was brought up to the crystals now humming with power. Lightning flared in a ring among the crystals and then lanced down into the disc.

Ranma was staring at the beast when one of the operators called down. "Congratulations, Mister Saotome, you've got a "
