Some stupid ladle and a bucket that they had picked up from a recently abandoned fortress. According to Pee Wee's research it had to do with a valley in China that could genetically alter any living creatures in different ways. But, when the boy genius tried entering the valley with his goon squad they always ended up getting turn around and leaving without even know how. Ionis had said there was obviously a spell around the valley, but he had no idea how to penetrate the thing, or even see it.
