A quick drive across the city and some unpacking later...
"Hey, hey careful with that! I don't want anything spilled," Gina yelled to the four hurt bots who were currently handling each end of the crate.
"YES MA'AM," they all said before giving a salute...and dropping the overgrown wooden box down onto the ground. Luckily it didn't break open or anything so Gina let it slide.
'Maybe I took out a little bit too much when it got rid of those protocols' Gina thought as she ordered her hurt bots to pick up the crate again and follow her inside to the main hall.
As expected, Pee Wee was standing there with his two goons Dashi and Zelda, along with his mage lackey. "So, you're paying in cash then?" Pee Wee asked with a raised every brow, noting the large crate.
"Don't be stupid, that's just a little something to verify your claims," Gina told him. "Now, where's the whatchamacallit?"
"Dashi," Pee Wee called. In response to his name the ninja quickly reached behind his back to pull out...
"A wooden dipper?" Gina asked, quite confused. "THAT'S the magical object that a whole society's existence depended on?" The blond haired girl looked away from the ninja and down towards his boss, bending down so she was right in his face. "What're you trying to pull here squirt?"
"Hey if you don't want it that's fine by me," Pee Wee shrugged. Without Jusenkyo water the ladle was useless to him anyway, he just thought to make some cash off it by selling it to the 'Gold Digger'. "I can just go sell it to some other famous treasure hunter who can make a name for themselves with it. Zelda, would you please call that Laura Croft associate of yours? I'm sure she's just LOVE to have it."
Now, anyone who knew anything about Gina knew that the Gold Digger completely and utterly DESPISED the Tomb Raider. Although Gina had won her archeologist of the year award not too long ago, Laura had done it twice in a row two years before (while giving Gina that 'nah nah I got one and you don't' smirk during her acceptance speech) and then there were all the merchandising surrounding the over publicized wannabe.
"FINE I'LL TAKE IT," Gina shouted.
So it was quite understandable when Gina agreed to the deal, just to keep it away from Laura.
"But I want to test this stuff first," she told them.
"Wait a second, you actually have Jusenkyo water, HERE?" Pee Wee shouted. "Do you even know what that stuff DOES?"
"No moron, that's why I said I wanted to test it," Gina deadpanned. Immediately the four people standing in front of her seemed to disappear in a cloud of dust while backing up until they got to the wall. 'Why the hell did they just jump to the other side of the room?'
"Go right ahead," Pee Wee yelled before throwing her the dipper. "We'll just uh, stay back so you feel safe."
Gina just blinked and caught the old piece of wood before telling her hurt bots to open the crate.
