"Well, I suppose it would be okay," the director replied. "By the way, just out of curiosity, just who did you get to play the rest of the cast?"
"Actually they've all worked together at some point in their lives and so I figured we could just bring them all in," the assistant said. "Not all of them are QUITE what we're looking for, but I figured a group that's familiar with the others would work better than one that isn't.
"For the part of Fred we managed to talk Miruko into joining," the assistant explained. "That Kagome girl is taking Velma's place while Sango fills in for Daphne."
"Well I suppose that's all we could hope for in such short notice," the director said. "Alright then, let's skip the whole breakfast bit at the gas station and cut right to the open road scene, ACTION!"
(and now, back to our show)
It was a cloudy morning on the open road as the Mystery Machine...wasn't there.
(-meanwhile back at the gas station-)
With one final groan and the sound of warping metal echoing throughout the small town, Inuyasha finally managed to push Sesshomaru into the back of the van before finally shutting the doors; although his brother's tail was now hanging out the back window. With that trial finally over, he wiped the sweat off his forehead and trudged towards the rear door.
Once finally in his seat, the half daemon just collapsed and slid onto the floor with a thud. "Okay, I think we're ready now," he mumbled. "Get this damn thing started already."
...and yet the Mystery Machine remained at the gas station.
"Ummm," Miroku spoke up as he sat in the driver's seat while trying to make something of all the controls. "Does anyone here know how to actually work one of these contraptions?"
