Ranma pointed at her red hair. "Fire."
"Ah." said Genma, assuming his best 'wise sensei' look; the sight of which caused Ranma's eyebrow to twitch. "Then you'll need endurance training against wet and cold. Perhaps we should detour to the mountains of Tibet. Yes, you could train in the snowcapped peaks, enduring the damp cold while maintaining a nice warm fire for me …er, to cook supper on."
Genma broke off as a fiery glow began to surround Ranma. He was just starting to consider the wisdom of running off and giving Ranma time to settle down, when Ranma seemed to relax. Although he was a bit worried by the gleam that appeared in her eye.
"Oh, Fa-ther!" Ranma called, grinning nastily. "I think someone wants to talk to you!"
Seeing Ranma gesture behind him, Genma turned around. And looked straight into the eyes of the biggest cat he had ever seen. A very wet cat that looked more than a bit pissed off.
"Oh! New Mister Customer must have fallen in Spring Of Drowned Sabretooth Tiger. Terrible tragic story sirs, of 1500 pound cat with very sharp teeth and claws who drown in spring 10,250 years ago."
Genma reacted with the speed of long practice.
"Saotome Final Technique!" Before anyone could react, Genma was gone.
The guide, the genie and the tiger stood there and blinked at each other.
