"YOU DON'T KNOW!?" Tirga said in shock. "How can you not know?"
"I never let him get close enough to me for me to get a good look," the banshee said. "Recently, he's been pretty quite, but he could arise again at any time!"
"Oh my," Kasumi said. "That doesn't sound good."
"So you really shouldn't try to stay here long," Sirizael said. "The last time people tried to stay here, the walls bled."
"By the way," Tirga said. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh," the banshee frowned irritably and pointed up. "Stirges."
"Whatever are stirges?" Kasumi asked.
"Sort of a combination of vampire bat and giant mosquito. About a foot long, eight pincher-legs, four bat-wings, long proboscis," the banshee said. "My last living memory was going to sleep and then the next thing I know I was looking down at myself covered in about eight of the things. I kill them when I can, but they keep coming back."
"Hmm," Kasumi said. "Maybe these...stirges have something to do with this other creature then."
"So, you'll be going then?" Sirizael asked. She really didn't want to see this nice were-lady get killed.
"Well..." Kasumi said, looking to her husband.
"We need a little help to take care of stirges," Tirga said.
"How about if she helps us then?" Kasumi asked.
