Julia had a smile on her face. The two were coming right towards her, without a break in the stride. They were completely unaware of the danger they were stepping into. "Welcome to my parlor, said the spider to the flies," Julia thought evilly.
Looking around, Seance whistled. Just past the two pyramids, a new project was being set up. "An obstacle course, maybe?" Seance thought in wonderment. His eyes widened when he realized it was BRIANNA who was building it by hand, moving large blocks of stone as best she could with her half-lycanthrope strength.
Moving her face closer to Seance's ear, Genn whispered, "I wonder what she did to anger her mother so."
"Same here," Seance whispered back. "Perhaps an experiment of hers went out of control and Julia is punishing her to instill discipline.
Finally making it up to Julia, who was watching Brianna carefully, Seance asked, "Good afternoon Mrs. Diggers."
"Good afternoon, Seance," Julia said calmly, not letting them know that anything was wrong, or that they were about to be reprimanded harshly.
Genn looked over Brianna, who was trying to push a large block in place... And ended up sending all the blocks lined up for that wall out of place. Wincing, Genn said, "Ouch. That's gotta hurt."
"She'll be fine," Julia said.
Seance nodded his head as he saw Briana getting out form underneath the mess. At least she was alive. Looking at Julia seriosuly, Seance asked, "Not that it's any of my business, but what did she do to deserve such a punishment?"
"Oh, she did something very cowardly," Julia said.
"Cowardly?" Seance asked.
"Yes," Julia said, making herself keep a straight face as to not give Seance of Genn the incentive to run. "Gina had to go and take care of some tricky business as at the Archaeologist Society Hall."
"Oh?" Seance asked, getting a chill up his spine.
"Yes," Julia said. "Gina asked her to help, but she turned tail and ran, leaving her sister high and dry."
"She did?" Genn asked nervously.
"Yes, isn't it such a shame that Brianna would leave her sister to go into danger alone?" Julia asked.
"Just awful," Seance agreed, him and Genn taking a few steps back.
However, before they could start running, Julia turned to them with a glare that froze them into place. "Just as bad as good friends not helping her as well, eh?"
Both Genn and Seance shivered. They nodded their heads pathetically, knowing all too well where this was heading. "We're in trouble, aren't we?"
"Oh yes you are," Julia said. "However, what to do with you is not in my jurisdiction. Since you are a student of my husband's, I suggest you go to him for your punishment.
Both Seance and Genn nodded their head, a little thankful that Gina wasn't going to be the one handing them their punishment.
