-Atlanta Georgia Hospital, Delivery Room-
"DAMN YOU THEODORE PASQUEL DIGGERS! I'LL GET YOU FOR DOING THIS TO ME!" an enraged redhead screamed as sweat dropped down upon her brow while she sat on the bed in a rather...unique position.
Dr. Diggers sighed as his wife lay on the bed, in the process of giving birth to their children. That had been the tenth oath of never ending vengeance that she had sworn in the last half an hour since they got to the hospital, nine of which were said while in labor.
Not that he had been expecting much less, natural births usually happened like this he had heard from his colleagues; natural meaning there were no drugs, no pain killers, nothing. It had been the only way Theo could get his 'dear' mother-in-law from not forcing them to have the children on Jade and away from proper medical care if anything went wrong.
"AS SOON AS WE GET HOME WE'RE CUTTING THOSE THINGS OF YOURS OFF YOU HEAR ME?"
Well, wrong with the children that is, his wife Julia was a whole other matter.
"Um, sir," the doctor spoke up as he looked over to the arch mage. "Perhaps you would like to hold your wife's hand in an attempt to calm her down momentarily?"
"Are you nuts?" Theo asked before looking back over to Julia. She had already torn off the sides of bed, put a hole in the back wall, and the remains of three things she had been asked to hold onto lay on the floor.
"Very well," the doctor said before turning back to Julia. "Now miss, the first one is almost out, if you could just push a little more."
"I AM @#$%^&@! PUSHING YOU &@#*@$$," Julia screeched. "WHY DON'T YOU TRY PULLING IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO DO MORE THAN @#$%ING STAND THERE TALKING!"
A short while later after many more threats from Julia, Theo heard the sound of a baby crying out as it was spanked before the doctor handed it to he nurse and Julia collapsed back onto the bed.
"Very good Miss Diggers," the doctor said. "Now then, let's try for the other one shall we?"
"Forget it, just seal me up, this one can stay in there," Julia replied between breaths.
"Oh dear," the doctor mumbled
"Is something wrong doctor?" Theo asked. Julia also poked her head up, there wasn't something wrong with her baby was there? The thought of loosing one of her children before he was even born sent a chill down her spine the likes of which she had never felt before.
"Well nothing too serious," the doctor said. "But it looks like the baby has turned. I can correct it, but it's going to take a little while."
Julia just moaned and collapsed back onto the bed. She was greatly relieved that her second child was okay, but on the other hand she just KNEW this kid was going to be trouble when he got older. 'Not even born and already causing me problems' the warrior thought with a frown.
