"Thanks for the help," Ranma called out politely. "See you later."
"Glad we could help," the woman behind the counter said as they walked out the door. She smiled kindly, glad to see happy customers, as the door closed behind them.
And then space warped.
About time, too, all those dimensional shops in one place, couldn't have been good.
Outside Ranma looked again to the shocked Akane.
"Now there was a diner or cafe or something just down...HEY!" Ranma said in shock, looking around. "All those new shops aren't here any more."
Ranma turned around to look and blinked as she found the "Furries 4 U" sign replaced by a perfectly normal looking pet shop with perfectly normal looking pets. A slight chill went up her spine.
"You know," Ranma said as the enchantment protecting the stores from close observation faded. "I'm beginning to think we got out of this lucky."
