It has been 5 days since Ranma returned back to his mother’s home. He spent the time working out in the backyard in the mornings and building the start of a gunnery range in the late morning and early afternoons. He needed the practice to polish his skills and ranges (private or otherwise) are extremely rare in Japan. The costs of materials are a bit on the high side, but he can easily afford it.
Obsidians Law # 34: “Unlimited money are the sinews of war”
Money invested in 5 years working as a mercenary, yielded great returns. Some of the money was invested legitimately. Most of it invested in “gray” areas. Weapons research and manufacture for example. Ranma figured by the time he reached 18, he’d be in the 100 million dollar range conservatively. Even with his “hobbies”.
Obsidians Law #5: “Know the terrain you’re fighting on”
Ranma spent the late afternoons scouting out the Azabu Juuban area. Obsidian told him that the princess was in that area and that she is somehow connected to Sailor Moon and the Sailor Senshi. Ranma didn’t know how effective they are, but they have to be effective to have lasted this long.
Ranma in his outings also took a gym bag, packed with his “equipment”. The type of enemies the Senshi fought is of the magical type, according to Obsidian. Ranma knew that fighting toe to toe with a youma would be in his capabilities in hand-to-hand combat. Enemies like that “Jadeite” guy that appeared over Narita airport some time back might require something “special”, so he planned accordingly.
