Sidhe Meddling: Dragon Roullette! [Episode 79735]

by Foster the Imposter

"My, that was unexpected." Riikano noted as the small scaled creature curled up.

"It looks like a fish with foreclaws and jaws." Alzphraxian noted raising an eyebrow. He was given a slight buffet from a nearby brass for his lack of tact.

"No he's a type of dragon, just not one that's survived." Riikano said. "Or to be more accurate he's a Yu dragon of the Lung strains. All Lung dragons are born in this form so he could come out of this resembling anything from a serpent to a turtle to a lion. But at the moment it's best to get him to water they cannot survive long on the land." he said gently picking up the tiny dragon with a black mane and carried it out to a stream that was warmer then most humans could handle for more then five minutes where he took a deep relaxed breath in the steamy waters.

"You know he's still pretty cute like this, and I've never seen a dragon like him before." Aesthyrondalaurai (or Aesth for short from now on) said smiling still set on being his mother.

"I'd be surprised if you did, as a general rule Lung Dragons were honorable, able to cooperate with one another very well and extremely insular. If you were not born in their lands, did not carry their blood and did not know their ways you were Gaijin an outsider, meaning a fool at best and a threat to be crushed at worst." Riikano explained.

"Really? What else can you tell us?" Alzphraxian asked.

"Not much of import at the moment, only that this child will remain in this form until he is fifteen years of age and at that point we'll see exactly what type of Lung dragon he is." Riikano said stroking his whiskers and smiling down at the squirming wyrmling that pulled itself partially out of the water to listen closer to them seemingly ignorant that he had not been in that form merely an hour and a half earlier.

"Well there must be a little something more you can tell us." Alzphraxian said in a wheedling tone eager for gossip and Riikano sighed.

"Alright then, roughly half a millenia before they vanished Lung Dragons used to take an extra eleven years before leaving their childhood forms. It caused a great deal of controversy within quite a few circles in their groups." Riikano explained and Alzphraxian stared at the tiny dragon with immense curiosity.

"We will need a name for him though..." Riikano said slowly musing out a proper dragon name. "A great many Lung Dragons are beings closely tied to the water so... Vrakarhesjing, Child of Water sounds like a fine name." he said planning to use his clairvoyance spells and enchantments to learn what his human name was so that as per Dragon Tradition he would have a proper set of names. After all calling out Vrakarhesjing was a mouthful no matter your size.

He turned out to be a very curious dragon with a stubborn streak longer then Riikano's tail, although he stuck to water as he had to he did not under any circumstance let that slow him down especially seeing as he could outswim almost any dragon even at his small size.

He gained the human name Ranma which had two meanings one was wild horse which the other wyrmlings would tease him about the other which suited him better was chaos demon with the sheer amount of flat out weird and absurd things he could find or get involved in. His prize square pearl was just one fine example of that.

Although he was indeed shaping up to be a fine young dragon as he listened constantly to his elders endlessly fascinated with whatever they could teach him. Then as his fifteenth birthday rolled along he dug deep into the mud of a river bank and slept for one week before bursting out of the water now a:
