"I still think it's a bad idea," Mist argued, crossing her arms. "He may be an excellent fighter, but it's enough trouble as it is to travel around. Too many people will severely strain our food stores and slow our progress."
Thorn barked a short laugh as Drijari looked in the direction that the mysterious human was. "Like having a small party helped us against the orcs? If it wasn't for that guy then we would be in some pot, or worse!"
"I could of done better..." Valoure grumbled, leaning against the cavern wall, and very glad that she had her weapons back.
"Heh, just keep fooling yourself," Dagger remarked, grinning as she beheld the fuming warrior. "She... he... whatever is probably a wandering monk or something. I heard that those guys can take down armies easy!" The warrior/thief's eyes then glinted. "And if she or he joins up with us, then we'll have easy pickings."
"See?" Thorn crowed. "I'm not the only one that thinks he's useful!"
Mist sighed at her longtime friend's comment. "The thing that you'll see him most useful as is a bedwarmer," she muttered, inciting a slightly embarrased shrug from the thief. The cleric turned to the mage elf. "Well? What do you say?"
Her questioned went unanswered. Kind of.
"Heh, heh, heh... magical curse... must experiment..." Tempeste mumbled, her eyes sparkly and a bit of drool coming out of her mouth. Sweatdrops rolled down the four elves heads.
"You know..." Valoure said, looking at the daydreaming magic user, "that should have been expected of her." The others nodded in agreement; they knew of Tempeste's obsession with odd and obscure magicks, though she was barely out of training.
Shaking out of her thoughts, Dagger looked at the ranger. "Well, that's three against two. What do you think?"
"Two things."
Dagger blinked at the curt response. "Er... what?"
Drijari looked over at her comrades. "I don't care either way, so you decide."
"Yes!" Thorn shouted as she pumped a fist in the air. "The human stays!" she chanted, much to Valoure's chagrim.
Mist shrugged. "All right. What's the second?" the cleric asked.
The plains elf pointed towards one of the exits of the cavern. "You do know that he left around twenty minutes ago, right?"
Silence followed her words. Finally, Valoure spoke up. "That would have been helpful earlier." The ranger just shrugged.
The thief moaned. "Now we have to go searching for my boytoy now!" she moaned, stalking past the group into the exit that Drijari pointed to.
