Ranma-chan shuddered as images began to fill her mind, of a life not quite his...(Or hers) but at the same time, she couldn't deny the emotional attachment she felt to the people here, and to those gone. The trouble came when her memories began to tangle with her 'True' memories. She remembered a father, serious and strong, and proud of her accomplishments, Not treating her any differently because of her gender. "Well done, Sango-chan."
She remembered Genma, devious and dishonest, belittling and unkind. Slowly passing on a wealth of skill, but destroying any hope of relating normally to the world, and sadling him with a life altering curse, and systematically destroying any ablitly to deal with it. "Ranma! You sound like a GIRL!"*Splash*
People, enemies and friends, and scenes of two lives began to flash though her mind...
Akane, Ryoga, Nabiki, Kasumi, Ucchan, Shampoo, Kodachi, Kuno...
Miroku, Kagome, Kohaku, Inu-Yasha, Naraku, Kaede, Kagura, Sesshoumaru...
WHO AM I? RANMA, OR SANGO????
I am both...and neither. I represent myself. He who is Ranma, lives the life of the one who was Sango. What I make of my life is up to me.
Kagome was staring at Ranma-chan worriedly, and put a hand on her forehead. "You don't have a fever..."
Ranma-chan blushed darkly at the contact, her eyes locking with Kagome's hazel ones, a silent moment passing between the two girls. Kagome's eyes widened in shock. "Sango-chan...your eyes!"
"Eh?"
"They've turned...I mean...you had brown eyes, right?" Kagome stammered, blushing a little. "They're bright blue!"
Blue? But...If my eyes...Maybe...Maybe I still can turn into a guy?
Hope swelled in her heart as she wondered what to do...
