[Episode 83056] [Episode 83056]The sound of Angel alarm was not one that Shinji usually welcomed, but you see it was the simple fact that due to his teacher droning on about third impact like he always did, Shinji really hated school. So Shinji choose, go through an entire 6 hours of unendless lectures, two risk his life to save humanity, oddly enough he was getting a small urge to destroy the souls of every person on Earth and commit acts of evil and sin. --------
Down in hell Lucifer tried to wipe a tear from his eye, but it had already evaporated before he could. He was already wanting to destroy the Earth, he was so proud of his avatar. He poured another glass of wine in celebration. --------
Shinji however decided that after a dream that did not include ceaseless nightmares and had actually been rather good, Shinji was feeling rather happy, he decided to save the Earth. -------
Down in hell Lucifer was cursing like a drunken sailor. -------
Waiting for Misato to get her lazy but out the door, Shinji then began looking out into the distance of Tokyo 3. He just stared at the sky, seeing a very bright point of light(not the sun) it seemed to be moving, very quickly, strait into the Earths atmosphere. Shinji realizing that this was the Angel, in a sort of surrealistic mood, he waved at the Angel. Never did he realize that it had waved back.
Misato had eventually brought up the miracle like effort to a wake up, got dressed, took Shinji and Asuka to NERV, while picking Rei up on the way. Getting their standard briefing of the Angel, which consisted of the techs saying a bunch of mumbo jumbo that translated into "We don't know a damn thing." Getting dressed in his plug suit Shinji couldn't help but wonder if his dream was right, then that would make meeting this Angel(if its female, but we already know it is) would reveal that odd vision to being factual.
Climbing into his Eva's entry plug, the cylinder of metal promptly filled with the Tang colored substance this boy so oh hated. As the blood flavored liquid called LCL filled his lungs and taste buds, he couldn't help retching in revulsion.
Slowly the purple mechanized beast dubbed Eva Unit 01 was loaded onto the catapult, Shinji braced for the awaiting G-forces.
"EVA LAUNCH!"
The Eva sky rocketed towards the surface, moving at speeds, that if not for the LCL would have crushed Shinji. As the Eva's elevator neared the exit point, Shinji dimly realized the elevator was not slowing down. What Shinji didn't realize, was that Aoba had forgotten to emplace the locks on the elevator, when the doors opened, and the elevator stopped, the result was obvious.
Eva 01 continued into the air, strait toward the point of light. It's movement unabated Unit 01 crashed into the light, which instead of impacting with the Angel and causing it to move, the Eva seemded to hang in the air, connected to the shining light. ----------
Shinji was in the plug, he was scared, but not scared enough that he could still resist the urge to take a giant piss right now. Then Shinji felt something, or rather two somethings, two very large somethings, pressed to his back. Shinji then heard the words that would mark the beginning of the strange events to come.
"I've been waiting for you." ---------
Down in hell Lucifer had poured himself another glass of wine. "Bring on the sex!"
