Now Ranma, though he was a martial arts nut, which can be blamed on the fault of his father drilling into him that anything besides martial arts is utter crap.
No one said that one panda-cursed individual a.k.a Genma Saotome was one of the brightest bulbs in the universe.
But Ranma had a secret that his father did not know of, which is he is a closet mecha otaku. Hell, it started when his friends, Daisuke and Hiroshi started showing him the G Gundam series, which had lots of martial arts moves. Since then, he had been a fan of the mecha seriies and had secretly built up quite a collection that would make the most die-hard otaku go green with envy.
