Everyone present stared back at the floating ball of light, Nabiki's stare being particularly flat. "What kind of wish goes like that? Shouldn't Saotome's latest blunder be in his lap already?"
Somehow, the floating spherical heavenly spirit gave off a sense of annoyance. "You know Miss Tendou, you might wish to brush up on your karma a bit. Especially around a young man you've abused being granted a divine wish."
Nabiki gave a snort of indifference. Heavenly being indeed. "Really, as if a goody two shoes ball of light would be making threats."
The warm ball of condensed happy sunlight floated lazily over to the middle Tendou sister. "Mhmm, let's see. . . Helpful, On a whim and for great cost. Listens, partially, but not in the intended manner. Nice? Not truly evil, but a definately uncaring."
Writing appearred before Nabiki, "Very well then, thine outer form match thine inner nature, moreso until pennance done."
With a brief flash, Nabiki Tendo was replaced by a small golden fox that seemed a bit confused. More writing followed.
"Unkind to Ranma art thou, of foxy wiles thou shall be. Show kindness from the heart and enjoy thine Kitsune's nature."
Kuno getting struck was a common enough occurence to be ignored. Seeing Nabiki nailed got everyone's attention. Even Ryoga and Kodachi calmed down at this point, though mostly it was due to shock.
"Uhm, what just happened?"
Seeing the young recipient of one multiply granted wish was confused and a bit troubled, the Aasimon elaborated on the divine judgement. "Quite simple young man, should she be unfair to you, she'll be an ordinary fox, and is free to continue with her mischief. Should she treat you fairly, she'll be able to assume a human form. Should she go all the way and stand at your side, she could be a powerful kitsune."
"Oh, uhm. . . that doesn't sound too bad. Uh, thanks for going nice on her."
One ball of light bobbed happily. "Of course, not entirely my choice, but something more extreme would just upset you."
The small fox put her paws over her eyes in shame. That baka got her cursed, then went and got all nice about it. Stupid fool.
Flashing briefly, the Aasimon regained Ranma's attention, along with that of everyone else. "Anyways, this is the location where you should go now to meet your fiancee."
Ranma blinked and read the address on the paper, before heading out to face the music. Everyone else got to follow a few moments afterwards when the forcefield came down, a mad scramble following the bouncing ball.
Meanwhile, left behind as usual, Kasumi wrinkled her nose in a cute frown. How come she couldn't be 'cursed' to turn into a magical girl by being nice to Ranma-kun?
