Morrigan was also a fighter.

Lillith was just plain nasty.

In desperation, Lillith lashed out and her mind sought to push part of Morrigan's essence into the boy.

Morrigan continued to try forcing part of Lillith's essence into Ranma.

Ranma was confused as he felt the battle occurring, but it was not a battle in a manner he had experienced before.

The two battling essences ended up locked together, Morrigan's strength and positioning was superior - and she was more experienced, but Lillith was viewing this as a war for survival.

The adult body faded away as Morrigan ended up using her strength to try and overwhelm Lillith this last time.

Now that the battle was IN and OVER him, Ranma's own will and spirit got into the fight - though as far as an outside observer would be concerned - he had just fainted and was twitching and having something like a seizure.

Genma returned during the battle and was a little put off by two things. One was the sleeping/twitching/jerking Ranma. The other was the way his hair (and his eyes on those occasion the eyes were open) kept changing from one color to another.

It took three days and three nights for the battle within Ranma to come to a close. When it did-

• Morrigan reappeared, exhausted. However part of her and part of Lillith are now part of Ranma.
• Ranma remains, however Morrigan and Lillith are trapped within him. For now.
• Ranma was in a hospital or shrine where he is under observation.
• Morrigan, Lillith, and Ranma. With one body that shifts as each persona takes over.
• there had been a blending, possibly with physical transformation, where all three are now a single entity.
• something else
