Nabiki looked at the embedded fiancees and back at the woman, and again decided that trying to charge for her services might not be a healthy course of action. "Tendo Nabiki. They say that Ranma must marry Akane. You cannot be fiancee."
"And Akane is?" Nabiki pointed to the wildly barking dog, roughly the size of a husky, and the visitor turned to her father and Mr. Saotome, picking them up by the fronts of their gis. She turned again to Nabiki, "Where do you put crazy people?"
Nabiki didn't quite get that, so said quietly, "Please wait... " and went to get her Japanese-English dictionary. Shortly afterward, she came back down. "They are not crazy. Dog is girl with curse."
Angakok sighed, it fit perfectly with the rest of this snakepit. "Thank you," and she threw the fathers into Ranma and Ryouga.
"HEY!" Ranma demanded of his supposed fiancee as he jumped upright, "What'cha do that for? Don't ya know not ta butt in on a man to man fight?"
Naturally, Akane bit him again, then started growling and barking frantically at the savage who claimed to be engaged to her Ranma - not that she wanted him, of course, but he was her macho jerk not to want!
For the moment, the newcomer ignored her, and after getting a translation, through Nabiki said "It was the best way to solve two problems: Their yelling and your fighting. Now, can we all at least pretend to be something like civilized?" She'd sized them up quite quickly; they were all brute force types except for the young woman in the kitchen doorway and maybe the girl with the brown hair; the only way to deal with them was to treat them like a pack of huskies and establish dominance right from the start. With varying degrees of reluctance, they sat down at the table, even Shampoo and Kodachi.
