This was just fine in her opinion, however, as she didn't feel like going to sleep just yet, and this would give her something to do while she rested from the long series of flights to get to New York.
She reached down and unrolled the first of the newspapers, deciding to start with the oldest.
She was, unfortunately, taking a sip from a cup of tea when she first looked at the front page. She almost choked in surprise at what she saw there.
"Spider-Man, hero? Or menace!"
The newspapers were suddenly a lot more interesting than merely a way to pass the time until she felt like sleeping.
"Another one?" Kodachi said, looking over the article and the bright blue and red costume worn my the man in the picture. It was quite similar to her own costume, which had been designed to appear similar to the spider that had bitten her.
"The spider was from New York," Kodachi reasoned. "Another could have been bitten."
