"It's mah powah," Rogue said. "An why Ah'm all covered up like this. I can't touch people or I'll drain them and take their powers."
Lucretia stared at her for an intense moment, drawing Ranma's attention away from the exercise going on in the danger room.
"Something wrong?" he asked about the same time Storm did.
"Iie," Lucretia said quickly, and then turned to Storm adding an English answer. "I'm fine."
A voice entered their minds suddenly and Lucretia flinched even as Ranma glanced quickly around for the source of the words he'd just heard.
"Come to the study, everyone," Xavier sent. "There are introductions to make."
"Err, what was that?" Ranma asked.
"The head guy's a mind reader," Lucretia explained. "Let's get this over with."
Neither Rogue nor Storm missed the fact that Lucretia hurried to put space between her and Rogue.
"Great," Rogue said. "How am ah supposed to talk to my brother if the only people that speak both Japanese and English don't stick around?"
"She is new and a little tense," Storm said. "Give her time."
"But we want to talk to him now," Kurt said, irritated.
"I'm sure we'll settle something," the woman said. "But not today in anycase, Ranma will most likely seek some rest after this is finished."
