Prejudice and Fear: Jusenkyo magic and were creature magic don't mix so well. Can anyone say were-smilodon times 2? [Episode 85658]

by RagnaBlade

Afte kicking the as of those eight hunters, and heating some water and changing back to male form, Ranma headed deeper into the surrounding forest. For the past several days he had been feeling very "odd". He had no idea what was the matter with him nor could he consult with the Jade equivalant of a doctor.

Unknown to him the potent Jusekyo magic and the magic inherent in all were-creaturs was duking it out inside of him. The water-based curse was using all of its power to expel the magical energies of the were-creatures because it would override the water-based magic of Jusenkyo. Of course it was getting nowhere in doing so. So it was left with one option. Gather itself together and remove itself from the host body.

"YEEARGH!" screamed Ranma as he doubled over in absolute agony. He felt like he was being ripped apart from the inside out. A pale blue glow surrounded his form and then condensed into a ball and shot away from Ranma.

Ranma tried to catch his breath from the grueling ordeal, and then whatched in awe as the ball of blue light changed and refromed into his femal form.

"WHAT THE FUCK!?"

Ranma of course was a little suspicous of this new development. This wasn't the first time magic had created a double of himself or his cursed form. In fact both times the resulting copies had tried to kill him or make his life hell so needless to say he was a little leary. Of course he was really surprised that this girl was also a were-smilodon like himself.

Now contrary to what most people think Ranma was not as ignorant as he seemed where the fairer sex was concerned, and here right before him was a prime example of womanhood. She looked exactly like his female were-smilodon form, red fur black highlights and eyestripe. Compared to his 9'6 stature she was smaller at 7'0.

Slowly her eyes began to flutter open. Finding herself in an unknown place, with her eyes eventually resting on Ranma's fearsome appearance she backed away in shear terror.

"Relax, I won't hurt you." he told the newly made were-smilodon . female

"Are...you...Ranma?" she asked timidly.

Ranma blinked, "You know my name?"

The girl nodded, "I'm the girl who drowned in that spring in Jusenkyo 1500 years ago."

Ranma was confused. As far as he knew once people died they stayed dead, "Come again?"

"I am that girl who drowned in that spring."

"But shouldn't you...I don't know...be...uh...dead?"

"Technically I should be dead;however, the magic of Jusenkyo saw the magical aura of a were-creature as a threat to it and atteted to remove it from you. But you were born a were-cat so the magic was laced into your very being. So the Jusekyo curse decided to remove itself from you."

Cuttinh Ranma said, "That doesn't explain your appearance or the fact that you are also a were-cat.

"I think that...when the curse tried to remove itself from you it took the part of my soul that was fused to yours, as well as some of the magic aura of your were-cat form, and made me as a respetical for."

"Really? Well I guess that explains it a little."

"Well its either that or fate has a real funny sense of humor."

"So...uhm...do you have a name? I don't want to call you 'girl' all the time."

"My name you probably couldn't pronounce so just call me 'Ranko' okay?"

Ranma flashed her a toothy grin, "Sure, no problem."

Finally he could have someone to talk to and not be lonly anymore.
