Ranma blinked several times. "What else?"
"Why the Kuno fortune, of course."
"Huh?! How did that happen?!"
The clerk gave a smile. "It is quite simple. Kodachi was the only controller of the fortune."
"But what about her brother and their loony father."
"I had a call about that earlier. Apparently Principal Kuno was dragging his son on some kind of father-son outing when he went and stopped in the Spells R' Us store."
"I went shopping there."
"Ah, yes. Well, apparently they made some rather rude comments and then purchased certain items without checking the warnings."
"What... happened to them?"
"The principal is now a hula dance working at a hotel in Honolulu. As for Tatewakei, she is now learning flower arranging at her local community center. And since neither is a Kuno anymore, control of the family fortunes fell to Kodachi. And, as she is in the process of becoming your pet, the fortune falls to you."
"So what your telling me is that everythin' the Kuno's owned is mine?!"
"I thought that was what I said. Although I do suggest that you keep your father out of the financial part of it. Or the spending for that matter."
