"Aw, c'mon. It'll be fun." Yuka looked over the notice that the shopkeeper had just put up.
Marilyn perked visibly up as the two approached the counter. The mermaid (not Tatewaki Kuno, that was another thread altogether) looking on in amusement herself.
Yuka glanced over at the mermaid, then over at the griffin-girl who was also watching this curiously. "Excuse me."
"Is this about the sign, or did you want to get a pet?" Marilyn asked, a hint of excitement coming forward. She'd never done anything like this.
"It's about the sign," began Yuka.
"Your friend here too?" Marilyn asked.
"Well, yes," agreed Sayuri hesitantly.
"Excellent," said Marilyn. "Any particular sort? Maybe a mythological motif since this is one of those Epic sort of things involving an evil sorceress and that sort of genre?"
"Well, I guess," said Yuka. "Anyway, about that sign. Did youuuuuuuu?!"
Marilyn let out a happy little sigh as the trap door closed shut after the two girls had dropped out of sight. Let's see. Mythological motif. Magic powerups. Hmmm.
