"Yeah, we kinda figured it out before you barged in," Nanami said sarcastically, having regained consciousness a few moments earlier.
Looking at Nanami and Ranma, Eiko scratched her head. "Excuse me, but who are you? And what are you doing here?"
"Ahh, but isn't it custom to first give out your own name?" Ranma asked with a smirk, Nanami groaning in the background and palming her forehead.
Eiko blinked, and then replied, "The name's Eiko Megami." with a shrug.
"I'm Ranma Mizuhara, and this is my friend, Nanami Jinnai," the boy replied, indicating the brunette with a nod in her direction. "And we are--"
"Prisoners, being kept here. Thank you so much for rescuing us!" Nanami gushed, interrupting Ranma.
"What are you doing?" he whispered, pulling Nanami away from Eiko, who was looking at them in confusion.
"We should keep a low profile, Ranma-baby," Nanami replied in low tones. "We don't know where -- or even when -- we are. Besides, this way, we could get out of this place with that red-head."
"Umm, okay?" Eiko sighed, and then her facial expression changed to one of determination. "Look, I'd love to stay and chat, but there's a friend I have to rescue from these aliens. Are you gonna tag along, or what?"
