She was Ranma, but she was Chun Li. Saotome and Xiang. In one. She retained her red hair, however, it had been modified, and was now considerably longer. The way it was up in the two buns on the sides of her head kept it from being apparent. The typical Chun Li fighting suit shifted slightly, the demi-cheongsam mostly changing in color. Now, while the edging remained black and gold, and the parts of the dress farther from Ranma's abdomen were Chun Li's typical cobalt blue, nearer to that center of martial artist's chi, the dress seemed to fade through a royal purple into a rich crimson color. The typical spiked bracelets remained the same, ever-present and sharp. She wore the deep-brown hose as ever, and the double-flap on the back of the dress hung down just past the top of her heavy white boots.
The wizard running the store was mischevious, not evil. And given his disposition towards someone as trampled-on as Ranma, he'd subtly, carefully ensured that the (now) young girl would choose none of the costumes that would completely subsume her former personality. Instead, there was something of a... mesh.
Xiang Ranma turned to the wizard, who was now dressed as a tailor. "I'll take it, and the five spares." It was perfect. The outfit looked relatively nice, while being businesslike to a degree (the spiked bracelets really helped), and it allowed a full range of motion. It would take a bit of time to attune herself to the different weight and tendencies of the clothing, but it would work. And now she could enter the street fighting tournament.
Now she could fight Bison. And he would pay for killing her father. Because Xiang Ranma didn't lose.
The wizard nodded calmly, watching the new Ranma walk out into the world marked most by it's back-alley battles. This would work out quite well. He smirked slightly, and the shop shifted again, bringing him someplace else to sell his wares. But he would keep an eye on this world. When someone so intimately involved with chaos wandered into a world like this one.... Oh, yes, he WOULD be watching.
