"I'm sure that she meant well," soothed the clerk.
"Oh, that's for sure. Ryoko's always been tryin' ta be nice and stuff, but she's never gotten it quite right."
"So, I take that she's not a thinker."
"Nah. Mom says she 'thinks with her heart, not with her head'. Or somethin' like that."
"You do realize that you don't have any difficulties."
"Hey, that's true. But I gotta watch out for her. She's my wife ya know."
"You sound like you've been doing this sort of thing for a while."
The Saiya-jin ran one hand through his spiky hair. "Ever since junior high. I was goin' ta an all boys' one when I saw this cute girl lookin' like she needed some help. She got all mad and stuff at the time, but we managed. Things kinda grew from there, ya know?"
"Indeed."
"I just gotta wonder where she is right now."

Ryoko Saotome, nee Hibiki, frowned as she put down the golden knot thing. She'd been angry with her husband for some reason, but she couldn't figure out exactly why. Something about 'settling with him'. Well, they were settled down, or as much as possble, what with her getting lost all the time. The Lost Girl had to damn her sense of direction, or lack of it.
Yet it had been her ability to easily get lost that had brought Ranma into her life. At first, she had thought him yet another jerk who was just trying to hit on or tease her, but it turned out that he had actually wanted to help. That simple incident started a relationship that had resulted in their marriage.
It was amazing to her how things had turned out, but that was how they had. So she left the Shrine of the Knot of Joining, and headed off to what she hoped was home.

Back in Tokyo, Ranma pondered what to do. He was now the owner of a group of pet-girls. Plus he had to deal with his wifes. And added to all that was the fact that he now owned all the Kuno assets, including the mansion. Things could only get wierder in his life, couldn't they?
Oh well, it was time to take his new pets and:
