Unknowing of what was befalling her friends Yuka & Sayuri (ie: a torrid lemon scene in a now freefloating dojo) Akane bravely continued to fight the onrush of lemon pudding by forcing it back with the table.
Well, actually all she was really managing to do was send it to either side of her position while she was pushed along as the mass within the house continued to double every 2.25 seconds.
While merely doubling doesn't sound like a terrible lot, consider that it was a twenty pound mass not terribly long ago. Within the space of four minutes, it had fissioned one hundred and six times. Twenty, forty, eighty, one hundred sixty... it was a bloody lot of pudding. Twenty six times a minute. After the first minute - it was over 335,544,320 pounds (1,525,201kg+) of light fluffy lemony cream.
Fortunately, Akane was not a high level mage. Even using the dreaded Bakanomicon she could only screw up so badly. The rate of doubling began to decrease after the first four minutes to an even once every five seconds. Eventually it would slow further but by that time international flights into Narita Airport would have to be rerouted.
Of course by that time Furinkan ward was pretty much under the pudding. There was a little fountain within the heap that marked the Tendo house, but other than that all you could see from the news helicopters was a big wad of pudding. The further away you got, the more it was reduced to simply being a colossal flood that overwhelmed systems meant to convey water off to the sea and which for some odd reason had never been designed to carry a hundred million pounds of enchanted lemon pudding.
Glorp! said a huge bubble that had apparently formed when the pudding had started flowing into the labyrinth below Kuno manor.
As for Akane, at some point pushing the mass back with the table had become riding the table like a surfboard. A surfboard riding a river of pudding that had built up in the narrow alleys of Furinkan and was rushing her at roughly 90kph along the streets and byways.
Naturally, being Akane Tendo, she weathered this latest situation with cool aplomb.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
However her impromptu boat kept her from suffering the effects of lemon immersion until:
