M nodded with a slightly strained smile, "Theo's agreed to take you and the baby Brittany in for as long as you need to stay." he glanced at his friend, "Right Theo, old chap?"
Theo nodded, M finally noticing the man had grown dangerously pale. "Geesh, Julia isn't really going to kill him, is she?" he thought curiosly, before turning back to Ranma.
"Ranma, I know how many were-creatures consider their hybrid forms their true form, and are most comfortable while in that form, but for the remainder of your stay within civilization I must request you keep to your human form when in public. A person is generally reasonable enough to accept you for what you are, but people in mass.." he let it hang, and then sighed in relief when Ranma nodded. Good, the boy understood.
Ranma had a few hours ago thought about just how to return to his human form, playing over and over in his mind the conversation with Bast that had seemed so long ago. Things were certainly changing quickly, and he was just thankful he seemed to be adapting rather quickly to the differnt changes.
Closing his eyes, Ranma pictured within his heart what he looked like in human form. The smooth, if slightly scarred, hairless skin (for the most part). The lack of two jutting fangs, claws, and of course his TAIL.
He could feel his bones shifting, hair withdrawing back into his skin as his tail vanished along with his jutting fangs. His cat ears retracted down to their original size, if only slightly pointed at the tips. Ranmas teeth, he noted after the change was complete, were slightly elongated. Similiar to Ryoga's fangs. "Pfeh, pig boy would call me a theif if he could see me now." Ranma thought amused as he opened his eyes.
Theo and M blinked when the transformation was complete. Neither had really believed his statement about only being seventeen years old, but now that they got a look at his human form...
"Ah.. yes." M put on a good natured smile, "I'll be in contact with you in a few days, concerning legal matters about yourself and young Brittany here." he motioned towards the baby, who awoke during the change and was now gurgling happily. Ah, youth.
Ranma nodded, before standing up to his not so impressive 5 foot nine inches in height. He turned to Theo, "Well.. 'blondie'.." he said with plain amusement on his features, in which Theo only smiled half heartedly in return, "Lets get goin. Brittany needs some fresh air, and I'm sure I do as well."
M watched the trio exit the room, Ranma walking with an air of disinterest while Theo walked the walk of a man facing ultimate destruction. "Geesh.. I hope Julia doesn't kill him."
