"You haven't explained anything," Akane said. "Why is Ranma still acting like a girl? Why are you calling her Sif? What are you all talking about?"
"Who's Ranma again?" Modi asked.
"He's the new recruit up in the ranks," Thrud said. At her brother's blank look she rolled her eyes. "The one getting all the valkyrie attention."
"Oh," Modi said, turning to Akane, who was still in Magni's hands. "Why are you looking for a dead man here on Earth."
"Ranma's not dead!" Akane said. "He's being a pervert over there."
Everybody looked at Sif who blinked while looking back and forth before pointing to herself in semi-disbelief.
"I haven't known this girl for long," Sayoko said. "About an hour in fact, but even I'd have to say that she's the least perverted thing I've ever seen."
"But Ranma's a boy!" Akane demanded.
"But I'm not Ranma," Sif said.
"But Ryouga said..." Akane blinked and came to a realization suddenly.
RYOUGA had told Kasumi that Ranma was here. Obviously he knew that she, Akane, would run off to clobber the philandering pervert and thus leave Kasumi wide open for him. So, this couldn't be Ranma. It was probably just someone that looked like Ranma, like that over-dramatic swordswoman that Kuno had tried to harass once.
"I'm very sorry," Akane said then. "Apparently I'm looking in the wrong place."
