"I know. Ya just don't see these in the city with all the lights gettin' in the way."
"Too true. I feel more at home in the forests than I do in the city."
"Heh. Remember when you were younger and just lay down like this and watched the stars?"
"Yep. Whenever I wasn't training, or travelling or whatever, I was looking at the stars. They're beautiful you know."
"Mmm hmm."
"Say Ranma?"
"Hmmm?"
"Just why were you in Ireland? Theo didn't say much about it."
"Do you believe in gods?"
"A bit. Where I'm from, Bastet's the most widely supported Goddess, why?"
"Well, would you believe that Bastet asked me to try and save the Werecheetahs? Too bad I only saved Britanny."
"I suppose. But you couldn't help what happened."
"True. Say, can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"What do you see in blondie anyway?"
"Blondie?"
"Your husband."
"Oh." For awhile there was some silence before Julia spoke up again. "I'm not sure. I can't really explain what I see in him. That's probably why I like him so much. I just can't explain what I see in him. If I could, then I don't think it would be love."
"Heh, love. Don't know much about the subject myself."
A compatable silence passed between the two of them for awhile.
"You got any rivals?"
"Rivals?"
"Sides me. I mean like someone who's near your level, gives you a damn good run for your money no matter what."
"Heh, yeah, her name's G'Nolga. You?"
"Ryoga."
"Wait. G'Nolga?"
"Ryoga?"
"Heh, they rhyme!"
The two shared a laugh at that. After a bit, Ranma spoke up. "Thanks."
"For what?"
"Just talking like this. I don't get to talk much ta anyone, guy or girl. Most of the girls just want ta kiss me and fondle me and most of the guys just want ta kill me."
