Mikuji was tired of all these interferences. She was also mightily pissed. Those meteor-like punches had HURT. If she hadn't hastily turned strategic parts of her body into stone to withstand the impacts, she would have been monster paste by now. Mikuji snarled, her body visibly regenerating her wounds and missing body parts.
Ranma smiled, switching into a defensive stance, ready for anything that monster-girl could pull off. The staring match between the two adversaries started, each of them looking for an opening.
Sailor Moon's brooch had been broken by Mikuji's bite attack earlier, changing her back into plain and powerless Usagi Tsukino. Ami, Makoto, Minako and Rei were still tied to various trees and unable to free themselves or transform. Tuxedo Kamen and the moon cats were out cold on the ground. It looked like the Pegasus Saint was now the good guys' only hope.
The direness of their situation didn't keep some of the senshi to check out the cute guy who came to their rescue. Cute, tight clothing flaunting his musculature, strong enough to take on the monsters-of-the-week, did we mention that he was cute? There were a few muttered "Sempai..." from Makoto and lovestruck looks from Minako, Rei and... Ami!?
The shy schoolgirl and exam ace would deny it later of course *blush* *twitch* *fidget* "Oh my..."
Mikuji lost patience first "DIE!" The daimon floated above the ground and launched herself at Ranma like a flying torpedo. The Pegasus Saint easily sidestepped her attack and prepared for a counterstrike...
*snag!*
Except that Mikuji's shrine bell rope-like hair grabbed his left arm. Then she used her momentum to throw Ranma away. He crashed in a tree. Like with the senshi, Mikuji created stone projectiles and used them to immobilize Ranma, pinning his wrists and ankles to the tree behind him. Ranma tried to free himself to no avail. He glared at the now gloating daimon.
"HAHAHAHA! Now you die, human!" Mikuji's demented smile opened to reveal two rows of wicked teeth "For your interference, I'm gonna rip your throat out!" Mikuji attacked.
"NOOOO!" The senshi's outcry was simultaneous. Even their newest savior had been defeated. What did it take to get rid of that monster!?
Ranma screamed "I'm not done, yet! Burn, my Cosmo! AaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" The Pegasus Saint's Cosmo exploded into a fiercely burning blue aura surrounding his body. The scenery behind him changed into a field of stars and he was replaced by a pinned neighing white winged horse. Needless to say, the whole thing looked damn impressive.
The stone fragments of Mikuji's body holding the Pegasus cracked and exploded in a final effort. Mikuji was still in the middle of her attack and couldn't abort her move. Her eyes widened in surprise and fear.
Ranma struck. He kicked the daimon in the gut and sent her flying into a wall. The stone actually cracked under the pressure, leaving a Mikuji-shaped indentation in the wall!
Kaolinite was not a happy camper and reminded everyone of her presence "Daimon Mikuji! What are you waiting for!? Get rid of that pest and bring me that girl's pure heart!"
Mikuji shakily stood up, groaning in pain. Kaolinite and the other spectators had no means of knowing that Ranma had not given her one kick but several dozens in the same spot.
"Let's finish this..." said Ranma as he started preparing for another Pegasus Ryusei Ken, his hand gestures mimicking the stars in the Pegasus constellation. Now that he knew that the monster in front of him wasn't operating alone, he needed to defeat it before that redhead decided to intervene.
Mikuji growled "I can see in your future... VERY BAD LUCK!" Out of her outraised right palm came streams of cursed ofudas again, in even greater numbers than before.
But when it seemed her attack was about to connect, Ranma dodged it by jumping vertically. Everyone turned their eyes to the sky who turned into a void full of stars.
Ranma hanged in mid-air and smiled "Fool! No attack can work on a Saint more than once!" His cosmic aura flared, the image of Pegasus appearing behind him. Ranma dived, his closed right fist first who was burning with blue energy, spinning on himself like a drill.
The senshi gasped "Another Ryusei Ken?" Ami shoock her head negatively "No... Not a meteor... It's... a comet!"
Indeed, Ranma's silhouette had been replaced by a huge comet, headed straight for the hapless Mikuji! "PEGASUS... SUISEI KEN!!!"
The daimon had only time to scream in terror before being hit by the Pegasus Saint's final attack. The comet-like energy blast rammed into her main body and after less than a second of resistance, went completely through!
"GRRAAAAAHHH!!!" Mikuji was left with a big bloody (green tree sap in fact) hole in her stomach and collapsed, her powers of regeneration overwhelmed by the damage. She disintegrated, leaving only a daimon egg behind who quickly suffered the same fate.
Ranma stood up from his kneeling position behind the spot where Mikuji died and turned to face the redheaded woman who seemed to be the creature's boss. He pointed a finger at Kaolinite and declared "You're next!"
