The ki signature felt quite different to the signatures that Cologne and the others back at Nerima had emitted. Ranma had never felt anything like it. He looked to see the person who radiated that ki.
The person turned out to be a white haired girl with a black leather jacket and odd looking jeans. Her midriff was exposed along with part of her legs. The martial artist immediately gave a small bow of apology. "Sorry, miss! I didn't see you coming."
The girl just looked at him once before smiling. "It's no problem, handsome. Actually, I think I'm glad I bumped into you."
Ranma blinked once. "You are?"
"Yep! It's not everyday I get to meet someone as well built and good looking as you are. You wanna go out sometime?"
The boy was just plain boggled. "But we just met."
There was a small giggle from the girl. "Oh, how silly of me! I forgot to introduce myself. The name's Angel."
Ranma paused to make sure he got the pronounciation of her name right (which was Ang-hel. Check it out on the KOF 2001 FAQs). "And my name is Ranma. Pleased to meet you, Angel."
Angel grinned. "The pleasure's all mine. Now what did you do to get so well built like that? Body build or something?"
He was blushing slightly with the way she was looking at him. "Er, no. Martial arts training, actually."
"I should have figured that out with your sense of fashion. You must have trained for a long time or something to be buffed up like that!"
Before Ranma could answer, another female called out to him. It was Lily Kane, who had a box in her arms. Billy was nowhere to be seen but he's probably still keeping an eye out for her. "Ranma!!"
"Lily! What are you doing here?"
She gave him the box which held about two dozen baked cookies. "I just wanted to thank you again for saving me from Yamazaki yesterday."
"You didn't really have to do this," said Ranma.
"Wait a second here!! You're the guy who whooped Ryuji Yamazaki?!?" Angel had a look of shock on her face.
The pigtailed boy shrugged. "It was nothing! Really! I don't get why you're making such a big deal out of this. If you excuse me." He started walking back home.
"I'll tell you what I know about Yamazaki," said Lily as she followed him.
Angel just stood there before processing this information in her head. 'Not only is he a major hunk but he's strong too! And he's the guy that the big cheese is looking for.' She specifically remembered Igniz giving out orders to find this warrior and gather information on him.
'I wonder how the boss is going to reward me for this.' The NESTS operative then started following Ranma and Lily.
