So, when it didn't find the attitude of a bisexual it "fixed" the "problem." Not that anyone would probably notice until after several times Ranma had failed to care about imprecations of femininity.
As for Ranma's desire to "do better in school" that was simple. Ranma already had an impressive mind, it was just highly focused. Actually, his mind was focused a bit too much to be healthily balanced. So, all it did was increase the amount that Ranma was concerned about school and improving himself or herself (depending on Ranma's mood at the time).
The spells found most of the skills he listed already present and the magic brought him up to at least a level of competence in every skill listed. Which meant, of course, very little if any addition to his martial skills, but a fair amount added to his life skills.
Ranma's rather undeveloped sex-drive had been increased to the level stated, but overall, Ranma was still the same naive young adult that he had always been.
The transgender part of the matter was easy for the spells. After all, it was already present. All that had to be done was fix the trigger problem to snap to Ranma's choice rather than that silly water thing.
Which left just the physical transformation. Of all the numerous animals and mystical creatures available the computer had happened upon the fox in its random choices. Granted, the fox had been granted a bit more of a chance than some others due to how it matched up with the stated attitudes, but it still wasn't highly likely.
Ranma's form and face were mostly human, though his face was a bit more pointed than a normal humans and the ears defintely were. He had a long, striking, red, black-tipped tail and a coat of red and white fur to match. He did look quite dashing indeed...
Unless, of course one had no interest in humanoid foxes.
