Now, how to hook him with Kasumi? He realized that that he would have to deal with Kasumi's and Ranma's shyness for them to get eloped. If he could just convinve Kasumi somehow to 'play doctor' with Ranma....
Hmm. Perhaps... It was time to visit an old friend of his and 'borrow' a certain item...
Step. Breath. Swipe.
Step. Breath. Swipe.
Kasumi peacefully cleaned the floor of the dojo, quietly humming a happy tune to herself. Even the titanic task of doing all the chores every day could be faced without stress; you only had to take one step each time.
Kasumi didn't think about everything she still had to do today; instead, she just concentrated on the next step, on the next breath, on the next swipe... on the next room, on the next song, on the next task. And then, before she could realize, she would have finished.
There were a gentle knock at the main door. Of course, her tasks were interrupted sometimes, but those were also part of the daily routine. She neatly placed the broom against the wall, and went to open the door.
"Ah, good morning, Akoro-san" she cheerily said as she opened the door.
"Good morning, Tendo-san. You certainly have a lot of mail today." he said, smiling as he gave her a package amongst the usual letters.
"How nice", she replied, returning his smile. Well, she was already smiling in first place, but she returned it the same. "Thank you, Akoro-san."
"Not at all. It's my duty, after all" he smirked. "Goodbye, Tendo-san."
"Goodbye" she waved back. After he left, she closed the door and quietly went upstairs. 'What a nice man', she thought. 'He certainly loves his work...'
She returned her attention to the package she was holding. 'Oh, my! It's from Doctor Tofu!' She hadn't heard about him in a long time.
She quickly opened the package, finding a small letter and...
