[Episode 8886] [Episode 8886]Oh, dear. "Ah...." Belldandy managed, her goddess powers protecting her from a massive wave of projected lust and affection, while some naughty tentacles began to work their way into the top of her gown. This wasn't good. "Ranma-san," she gasped, as one of the tentacles touched her skin. That was right, she remembered suddenly.
Aside from the normal mental projections, there was a contact agent that robbed victims of their will. It would begin to affect her any minute now, making her a totally devoted slave to his every sexual whim. Her body would become his plaything, something he would toy with as casually as... as....
She sat up, blinking in confusion. Where had he gone?
He was currently capering across the deserted hallway in the mansion. "Human again! Human again!" he chanted happily, his mantra having changed. A stray tentacle grabbed a vase from a nearby pedestal, and held a bouquet of flowers up to his nose while his arms stretched over his head. "Oh, it's GOOD to be cured!" he sighed happily. "Completely normal again."
"Oh, dear," Belldandy winced, climbing to her feet. "Ah, Ranma-san... there was a bit of a mistake, I'm afraid...."
Ranma froze, paralyzed with fear, and stared at her in worry, his tentacles retracting to cower near his body like frightened puppies. Naughty, naughty frightened puppies, but.... Erm. Bad thought, she chastised herself. He had a strong effect, considering none of the contact agent usually involved with shikima had been used on her. "What's wrong?" he asked, fear lighting his eyes and making them glow with worry.
"Ah, that is, you're not... entirely human," she said apologetically. "I turned you into an image of what... was in your mind...."
"The image I used to try and fight off the power of the curse?" Ranma asked weakly.
Well, that explained it, at least. "I'm afraid so, Ranma-san," she said apologetically.
"Oh, no," he whispered. "I'm doomed." His tentacles began to wring themselves like fretting hands behind his back, while his fingertips raked through his hair. "What do I do?" he asked, looking at her beseechingly.
"I... was supposed to grant your wish, but I'm afraid I made a mistake," Belldandy whispered, lowering her head meekly. "I can't grant you another wish, yet... but... I can explain what's happened to you, and we can explore your powers -- you should be able to assume a totally human guise, with practice."
"Really?" Ranma asked, hope filling his eyes. Oh, he was such a sweet boy... sex-demon... er.... Well, whatever he was, he was very sweet. And sexy. Belldandy shook her head, imagining that it was the combined power of the curse and his new form that allowed him to project so strongly.
"Yes," she said, nodding. "I don't know very much right now, but I can find out more." Closing her eyes, she murmured the spell that would summon a book to explain the exact situation. It took her a moment to locate it within the database, but within a heartbeat, it was in her hands, the faint glow of the book adding to her own defenses against his natural lust aura, and allowing her to think straight.
