Smiling at her, Ranma cleared his throat, then said his wish. "I wish that Kasumi were the one true fiancee!!!" Ranma said, as he willed an engagment ring into existence.
"OH MY!" Kasumi exclaimed as she stared at the rock.
"Ranma you ..." Akane began to rage, then staggered as the ripples of Ranma's wish washed over her. Suddenly she had no idea why she was angry. So what if Ranma used his new power to give Kasumi an engagement ring, she was his fiancee after all. "... you had better take good care of my sister." She started to cry; she was so happy for her sister.
Nabiki cursed herself. She now remembered herself and Akane shunting Ranma onto Kasumi on the very first day. She'd been so releived back then that her sister had been too nice to refuse the poor jerk, but how could she know he'd turn out to get such great power. That ring had to cost a fortune and he just wished it up.
As the ripples spread across the fabric of reality throughout Nerima, attitudes and memories changed. Everyone accepted that Kasumi was Ranma's true fiancee with a degree of certainty that no delusion could disrupt.
However, because Ranma was so inexperienced in using his new ability there were, of course, unintended consequences, as was revealed with the sudden arrival of ...
