Pantha smiled as she finished dressing, buckling her dark leather tunic to her chest and securing a store bought quiver, replacing the one she had lost when she was captured. "It's good to be wearing more then my underwear again."
*knock knock* "Pantha? You dressed?" came the familiar call of her boss Gaja.
"Yeah, come on in Gaja!" Pantha simply said back, knowing the were-lion/jaguar mix would be able to hear it. She grabbed her cloak and swung it over her head as Gaja entered the room, tying the strap and folding it under the collar of her shirt so as not to chafe her fur or neck.
"Ah, Pantha. It's good too see you in uniform again." Gaja smiled, idly walking around the room while curiously looking about. "I hope your up to performing your duties again?" he gave her a questioningly glance.
"Sir!" Pantha saluted.
"Good. Recently we have received two volunteers, and due to special circumstances I have given them honorary status as members within our organization." Gaja explained, "These two honorary members will need a permanent officer to oversee their exploits, and report their findings as required by law."
Pantha nodded, "I understand, sir. When we return to Seer's Hamlet I'll do my best with these volunteers."
Gaja chuckled lightly, waving a hand to dismiss her notions of returning to the Hamlet, "That won't be required. They are have recently arrived to Durpan, and are right now waiting for you at the Rusty Beard Tavern."
"Oh? Will you give me a briefing on them? I'd like to know what I could expect from these people." Pantha raised an eyebrow.
"I believe you know them well enough. A Theodore Diggers and Ranma Saotome.." he trailed off, a grin coming to his face as her face lit up in recognition. "Due to recent events that are better left unspoken, these two have become my apprentices in the art of Aura Magic. They are at the point were most of their studies will be taught through real life experience, and don't need me to oversee all their actions like I would a novice."
"I see..." Pantha smiled tightly. She was being assigned to the very people who had saved her life, to the one she had seen no longer then a year ago go bezerk and trash a band of bandits and their sand worms before Gneiss could bring them down. Two men. She was slightly intimidated by that, due to obvious reasons. "I'll do my best then, sir."
"Good." Gaja nodded. He wondered for the briefest of moments if what he overheard the previous night from his two students were true, that being Pantha was interested in young Theo. Well, he'd find out in a few months he supposed, they would be traveling together, plenty of time for a relationship to start up if it was going to start up at all.

"You gonna eat that?" Ranma grinned, pointing at Theo's plate.
Theo snorted, pushing his plate away, "I hate Fire Eggs." he grunted, "Too spicy."
Ranma chuckled, scratching the back of his head nervously. "You still upset about that, aren't you?"
Theo gave him a half lidded gaze, "Gee.. you switched my eggs for fire eggs, only you forgot Gneiss's blend of fire eggs were magically altered to give the old man some extra kick."
"Heh.. How was I suppose do know it would do that? Don't whine Theo! You got your taste buds back didn't ya?" Ranma looked sheepish, but that didn't stop him from stuffing the remainder of Theo's breakfast down his throat.
"Whatever."
"You know, if you keep whinin like that Pantha might not like you anymore!" Ranma chuckled.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Ranma. At best, Pantha and I are friends." Theo was getting a little annoyed with his friend’s insistence that something was going on between him and the Peace officer. "Just knock it off alright? I'm not in the mood for your games."
"Cry me a river." Ranma deadpanned.
"Good morning, gentlemen." a familiar voice said as the owner walked up to the table. A werepanther dressed in a black and green leather tunic that flowed down her chest, ending as a leather skirt across her long furry smooth legs. Around her wrists were tied large leather bracers, with similar matching bracers higher up her arms but just below her shoulder joints. A similar colored green cloak adorned her back, the woman's long tail swishing back and forth under it. On her belt was a large, if simple, dagger and a quiver filled with arrows, though they couldn't see any hint of a bow on the woman.
"Pantha." Ranma nodded.
"Good morning." Theo grunted, rubbing his hands nervously and finding the window comfortable to look at.
"May I?" she gestured to a free chair.
Ranma shrugged, "Don't see why not. Gaja sent you right?"
"Yes, yes he did. I take it you two are well aware of the facts?" She asked as she joined them at their table.
Theo shrugged, "Yeah. Travel around, have fun, stop bad guys, get paid, then stop by Gaja's place in a few months."
"I knew it!" Ranma crowed, pointing accusingly at his friend.
"Eh? What? What are you harping about!" Theo blinked, looking confused.
"You said have fun!" Ranma crowed again, turning to Pantha he grinned, "You heard him! Didn't yah? Didn't yah!" Pantha nodded dumbly, surprised. "There you have it! No more actin like a stick in the mud Theo!"
Theo growled in embarrassment, "I am not a stick in the mud! You're just psychotic!"
"What?! I wasn't the one who unleashed the army of sickeningly cute demons!"
"EH, SHUT UP! At least I didn't get turned into mouse for teaching kids how to be perverts!"
Pantha sweat dropped.
"What? HEY! You know I didn't do anything like that! Those kids were already perverts!" Ranma snarled.
Pantha had to wonder what kind of adventures they would have, especially with these two loonies in the group.
