"Yup," replied Ranma with a nod.
"But Nabiki is..."
"I know that, but I still gotta go to school. 'Sides, the Pill'll wear off by tomorrow and she'll be connin' me outta somethin' again."
"No, I'll never do that again!" denied Nabiki.
"Yeah, well, I gotta go ta school. Ya mind lettin' me up."
"But..," said the middle Tendo with a bit of sadness, and then she brightened. "I know! I'll go with you!"
While Nabiki rushed to go and finish preparing for school, Akane stared after her.
Ranma just sighed and put his face in his hand.

From his perch in a tree, Happosai grinned. Things were going so well. Nabiki would spend the day totally devoted to Ranma and then when the Pill wore off... Heh.
That'd teach her to bilk an old man in his twilight years.

"Can't you stop this?" growled Akane as they walked to school that morning.
"Ain't much I can do," Ranma said as he walked on the sidewalk. The reasion for that currently had both arms wrapped around one of his and her head was resting on his shoulder.
Nabiki let out a happy little sigh and laced her fingers with Ranma's.
"Fine! See if I care!" said the youngest Tendo, looking away with a sniff.
"C'mon Akane, it ain't like I asked for this..," Ranma said.
Whatever Akane was bout to say was interupted by:
