"You really should speak better of your elders, Son-in-law," pronounced Cologne from where she had bopped Ranma.
"Did ya have to hit me like that?"
"Yes, I did. Now tell me, why did want to speak to me? And for that matter why are you holding hands with Miss Tendo?"
Akane answered. "Happosai got the Day Love Pill and dropped it into Nabiki's breakfast."
"And Ranma was the one that she saw I take it."
"Got it in one," confirmed Ranma.
"I had thought he'd taken it. Thought that will have to be dealt with another time. However, that does present an interesting situation."
"But can ya do anything about it?"
Nabiki scowled. "Why should she. I love you and that's that."
"Not quite, but that's not important child," said the Amazon Elder, "Still, there is not much we can do."
"Ya can't do anything?" asked Ranma.
"I did not say that. The problem is that we do not have a cure for the Pill. All we could do is use something to lessen or change the effects or her. Take the Contrary Jewel. It would make her not love you any more..."
"But I'd hate him? No thanks, I'm not trying it," said Nabiki.
