The biotechnology he'd developed was ready for a field test. He'd already developed a couple of prototypes, but it had been the data on the daimon that had pushed him forward the most rapidly.
The Eggs Of Daimon, which had been sentient if twisted. After the destruction of Mugen Gakuen, Ranma had paid some area kids to investigate a few things and bring him back scraps.
He'd had to intervene a couple of times. Most multilevel shopping center garages had security cameras and the Senshi had fought a daimon named Doornobu in exactly that sort of location. After getting access to those files, he'd deleted them. Still, it had given him more data and allowed him to make some extrapolations.
Twice he'd had false starts but had been able to destroy the beings that he had created. Making monsters was NOT his goal after all.
He was a Mad Scientist, not an idiot one.
Creating monsters to go out on a rampage, killing and destroying, might be amusing in the short run but counter-productive in the long run. It wouldn't prove his superiority to stupid martial artists - that was for sure. His biotechnology allowed him to not only clone and mongrel-clone but develop enhanced genetic materials. Competing with martial artists on their own level would be crass. It might also put him into conflict with Hotaru, which was not where he desired to be. Besides, he had a better idea.
