Skuld had spent quite a bit of time working on her prototype, which she called the Tenchi Gundam, because of the fact that it resembled a heavenly warrior, and because it was meant to fight out in space.
Skuld had dug into Yggsdrail's mainframe for the blueprints of the most advanced Gundams, and taking into account the specific situation of its destined pilot, decided to splurge a little.
As Ranma wasn't a pilot, but a martial artist, she decided to draw off of the mobile trace system from G-Gundam, which would allow him to use the Gundam as an extention of his own body. He would simply perform the technique, and the system would cause the Gundam to mimic it, from the energy blast of the Mouko Takabisha, to the speed punches of the Amaguriken training. She even put in a few 'extras' for when it got infused by the Praxis.
