Setsuna's Fault: When all else fails, sing about how life is great [Episode 90990]

'A Mazoku?!? But how did he become one?!?' Setsuna had to go find her emergency bottle of aspirin to deal with her current headache. Unfortunately, she had forgotten to refill it and had left a note instead.

Dear Setsuna,

I owe you one emergency bottle of aspirin.

She tossed the note away and massaged her forehead before going over some general facts about Mazoku.

1. They're already dead. Killing them through normal means can no longer be done.

2. They feed on negative emotions, pain and suffering.

3. The only known way to hurt them is through powerful White Magic.

Setsuna thought about the third fact in some detail. Queen Serenity had been a powerful White Magic user and Usagi was getting stronger with her power. But to eliminate Ranma permanently was going to take an extraordinary amount of White Magic. Currently, it is beyond the Senshi's reach.

She came to the last thing that she could remember. Mazoku can not bear to hear about good things in life and how life is great. Anything positive makes them cringe. And when they hear some songs about how life is great, they just break down. This had been demonstrated when Amelia, Zelgadis and Gourry performed for Xelloss and neutralized the Trickster Priest.

'There are sure to be other White mages around. And if all else fails, then I can slow Ranma down with singing,' thought Setsuna. But will it work? Is Ranma a true Mazoku similar to Xelloss or a new generation of Mazoku?

After some thought, Setsuna decided on a plan of action.

• She will go off and find other White mages. Will they be willing to help?
• She acts as a travelling stranger and sings when she gets within proximity to Ranma. Is he a true Mazoku?
• Same as option 2 but it turns out he is a new breed of Mazoku. In other words, the singing does not make him want to die.
• She has to deal with Ranma finding out about his new change and thus his new insane magical powers.
• She will have to deal with this new force who had taken an interest in Ranma becoming a Mazoku. "Who are you and what do you want with the boy?" "That is a secret!!"
• She will do something else.
