Mars put her hands on her hips and rolled her eyes. "Let's see... You set up a boy to be killed, only when he didn't and went on to become a friend to Saturn, you go and try to kill him... That sounds like a good reason, doesn't it?"
Scowling, the Senshi of Time tried to figure out some way to work around this situation. She knew that it would be absurd to attack those she needed in a certain position, but if she tried to finish what she started, they would no doubt try to stop her. Whatever belief they had in her judgement had seemed to be in short supply, but she knew that she had to make them see what she was doing was right.
So unable to fight, and unable to let it go, she took a page from Genma Saotome's book, and decided to lie as best she could, which actually was much better than the average greedy fat martial artist.
"Listen, I know it seems horrible, but I must do this," the tanned woman told them, "If I don't get rid of him, he'll cause a major shift in the timeline."
"Umm... how is that possible?" Jupiter asked skeptically.
"Simple. He will cause a divide amongst you, and you will not have the unity that you will have when Crystal Tokyo comes about, if even can with his presence. And that one bastion of hope is needed to save humanity from completely fading from this life."
Mercury frowned as she looked at the older woman. "And killing one boy will take care of all that?"
"Yes! He might not look it, but he is really a troublemaker who won't become anything more than a hinderance to the future salvation of mankind," the Time Senshi told them, "He goes along, regardless of the affect his actions would have on others, and that may not only result in the end of Crystal Tokyo, but of you, because if he gets in the way, you might not have the strength to fight, and may fall against an enemy that he's allowed to get to you."
Venus stared at her. "So, you're saying that you're protecting us?"
"I am, as well as the sanctity of the timeline. If I don't do this, we could all be in grave jeopardy."
"But he's a good person," Saturn protested.
"Just look at all this, and remember, a lot of our enemies have seemed like good people," Pluto responded, and watched as:
