Serenity's Heir: An enemy's approach [Episode 91564]

Instead of refugees from the Sailor Wars they were now survivors of a kingdom which had been ripped from its native El Hazard universe by a device known as the Eye Of God. The dimensional disturbance had involved a half dozen other kingdoms which had ended in them all settling into an earlier Earth.

The Ancient Enemy that they had faced was an ancient and evil kingdom. Something dark and dangerous that had withdrawn into itself and ignored the others. When it had been ready it had swarmed out and destroyed the others in a long set of destruction.

Now the Ancient Enemy was loose again, and the defenders and survivors of that ancient set of kingdoms had risen to fight it once again and this time end it forever.

As soon as they had freed themselves of their restraints, two of the Enemy had gone searching in this strange new world.

Humans were as weak as ever. Or at least nearly so.

Take this heavyset one wandering alone. An easy target.

Genma stopped as he felt imminent danger and something like the Master's dark presence nearby.

He looked around, seeing the rocky outcroppings and brown patches of grass, but nothing that immediately identified itself as danger to him. He shrugged, apparently unconcerned, and continued on.

Genma watched though, and a flicker of movement resuming was enough to tell him that he was being stalked.

At first he thought it was his stupid boy, trying to sneak up on his old man. Not that it mattered, they had to find Jusenkyo soon and then they could call off this training journey.

As the attack began, Genma was startled to find that it was not Ranma coming closer but was instead:

• shadowy demonic beings. (Either Devilman sorts or Dragon Century types.)
• black creatures that wore something approximating a thin human form though their faces are covered by white masks and they had long thin clawed fingers.
• animated statues or collections of items (a la Harmaggedon for example)
• small monster-ish creations
• something else
