"So tired," He muttered trying to stay awake. He knows that if he falls asleep he'll never wake up again. He doesn't want to die, not now, not this way, bleeding to death trying to get out an old ruin. He shouldn't have believed them when they said they've found a cure to his curse. He knew that shouldn't have gone but he did and now he's paying for not listening to his gut instinct.
"Damn them," He said coughing up some blood, he growled when he remember their faces, laughing at him as they left him chained to a wall at the bottom of the castle. All of them are going to pay, but that's only if he gets out of here. Had he not being in the process of dieing, he would have noticed how beautiful the castle was or even more he would have noticed when he took a secret passage to a certain room of the abandoned castle that hasn't been entered for a very, very long time
"I can't give up. Ranma Saotome doesn't lose!" He said as he placed his hand on the wall to support himself as he limped down the hallway. He again didn't noticed that when the blood on his hand touched the wall, all over the room, glyphs began to glow on the wall; each a bunch of symbols that Ranma wouldn't understand even if he saw them. As he walked, more glyphs appeared on the walls next to him and above.
Ranma finally got to the end of the hallway, when he suddenly found a lack of stairs, so he fell." He didn't fall that far, yet it was enough to cause him to scream in pain and cough up more blood. The darkness in his vision was spreading, he didn't have much time left. He struggled back to his feet painfully and looked around, finally aware of his surroundings. "Where am I?"
He heard heavy breathing behind him, so he turned and gasped. It was big, very big and powerful and it was staring at him...no it was staring through him, straight to his soul. Ranma couldn't, no wouldn't turn away. He has stared death face to face and he wouldn't turn away now. He wasn't going to let some beast eat him without getting a fight first. He summoned the last of his energy and two blazing golden orbs of energy appeared in both of his hands. This was sure to kill him, but he wasn't going to back down for anyone or anything!
[Calm yourself warrior, I mean you no harm] Ranma jerked his head around when the voice appeared in his head. The darkness was pushed back slightly and he could see that the beast was chained down with glowing chains and all it was doing was staring at him. He reabsorbed the energy blazing in his hands and winced as a lot of it was gone, due to him wasting it with that fancy display. "What do you want?" Ranma spat bitterly. "I would prefer to die in peace, instead of getting screwed over again."
His words followed a coughing spasm that brought up blood and Ranma to his knees. [So much pain, for one so young. Young Warrior, I desire freedom and I assume you would like to stay alive. I want us to join in a pact. Those symbols on the walls won't let me leave unless I join with a human. It was designed by the people who built this place to force me to join, but alas I was young and very prideful so I refused to do so. Time passed and the people died, and I was left alone for so long. I want freedom and you can give it to me.]
Ranma looked up and the massive beast before him. "If I agree, what's the catch? There's always a catch" He had to force back the darkness again, if anything he'll be dead soon with how bad he had to concentrate. [You are wise for one so young. In order to join with me in a pact, you must give up a function of your body.] Ranma thought it over briefly, he has no real choice.
He stood with the last of his strength and bowed the best he could. "I'll do it." The room began to glow as the glyphs and chains surrounding the beast shattered and a symbol appeared in front of Ranma, floating in the air. [All you have to do is touch the symbol] Ranma raised his hand and touched the symbol and that is the story of how Ranma joined in a pact with
