Soun Tendo had been crying his eyes out because of many things. His baby girl had beaten up the boy who was supposed to be her fiancee, and had made a mess of the engagement. To make matters worse, she had been taken and put into a mental institution of all places because the government said that she had no self control! Added to that was the fact that her sister was selling her out, and the neighbors were looking at him funny. All toghether, he had found plenty to drench with tears the floorboards about.
But as he watched what was being broadcast on the television, he found his eyes tearing up for a different reason.
And upon seeing his eldest daughter being the model of a proper young lady, and her sister coming by in the suit that she had been wearing to meet that publishing company, his reason was firmed.
Because if one of them were to enter this contest, then they would surely win, and Genma would see that the Tendo engagement was still the way to go.
"Oh... WAH!" he sobbed in happiness, as he could see nothing that could go wrong with this plan.
His daughters shivered as they felt an odd chill go down their backs though.
The word went out far and wide.
There was a prince looking for a bride.
He had magical creatures, an unknown amount of wealth, and a kingdom that was probably out of a fairy tale.
Best of all... he was a hunk.
And it didn't matter if you were a jet-setting heiress, or a mere schoolgirl, as anyone could be the one to be his princess.
Was it any wonder that there was an excitment running through the female population?
The only problem in this situation was that they had to wait a few days, but they were willing do it, as they got the time to get ready while:
