It would be an understatement to say that Rei was angry. This was to be her great day (or rather night since she worshipped the Moon goddess) and this... this... little peeping tom had to barge in and ogle her!
Only the fact that she was still nude and wished to avoid further embarassment saved Ranma from instant retribution. That didn't mean he would escape punishment. She started screaming at the top of her lungs "INFIDEL! BLASPHEMER!! PERVERT!!! SISTERS, THERE IS AN INTRUDER IN THE TEMPLE!"
Ranma panicked. Soon the others would come to see what the commotion was about. He had to get away and quickly!
The sound of rapid footsteps and various exclamations behind him made him understand that he couldn't go back the way he came in. That left him only two escape routes: The roof and the doorway at the other end of the room.
Ranma could have broken through the stained-glass window on the roof easily but decided against it. He was pretty wary of damaging temple property, some people had been horribly cursed for less...
"Sorry, miss, I'll just be going now... Bye!" Ranma waved goodbye to Rei and crossed the pool in one acrobatic jump. The young apprentice priestess gasped in surprise. How could a boy her age perform such a feat? She had heard stories of monks and their skills but there was a difference between those tales and reality.
Ranma quickly opened the door to the inner sanctum and closed it behind him. From there, he ran, hoping to find an exit bafore the priestesses caught him or worse.
Wait a minute! The pervert was escaping her just wrath! This wasn't the time to admire his prowess! She got out of the water and hastily put her ceremonial toga back on. This was personal now! She would catch him and he would rue the day he had met Rei Hino, priestess of the Moon. She ran after him, anger and outrage lending her strength.
The doors suddenly opened. Phobos, Deimos, a few novices and a priestess entered "Lady Rei! Are you all right? What happened!?" They only saw an empty room and the doors at the other side of the pool laying open "Where has she gone?"
