Gina stepped into the room behind her brother-in-law and looked over to the mini-werecheetah and considered. She did notice, however, that both her father and Jetta were looking somewhat concerned.
"Brianna was doing something in the med bay and it triggered a medical alarm over the lab," Gina said. "The computer mentioned someone named 'Acacia' but Brianna wouldn't let me see her."
"Acacia?" Jetta said. "And she wouldn't let you see her?"
"But," Theo added. "Brianna did recognize Gina."
"Well, of course she recognized me," Gina said in a bit of a huff. "My intercoms are very clear and I even told her it was me. What's the surprise."
"I'm confused," Charlie said.
"Everybody's confused," Theo assured her.
"But she said her name was Grave," Charlotte said, not noticing the way Theo and Gina froze at that name. "You say it's Brianna, and Gina said her name was Acacia..."
Theo looked from the person in question, to Charlotte and back again.
"Are you certain, Charlotte," Theo said, "that she said her name was Grave?"
"Ummm, maybe not," Charlie said. "That's a terrible name. Maybe she said Grace?"
Gina looked to the unconscious girl and tried to decide whether to run away now, or trust that things were well in hand.
"What the heck happened that would get..."
"I'm home!" a voice called out from the front, following the opening of a door and preceeding the sound of it being firmly slammed shut.
All eyes turned toward the sound of that voice as its owner strode ever closer to them, only Charlotte had kept the same expression, but she had already been confused. A weary but smug Brianna strode into the room and yawned.
"What's..."
And that's when she saw Grave on the bed.
"Uh...heh," Brianna choked.
"I think there is some explaining to be done here," Theo said.
