Sky Tiger: Soun has a secret; Ranma has butterflies; Charlotte has problems [Episode 93431]

Genma wasn't the brightest bulb in the socket. He pretended to be quite often, but anyone who knew of him personally knew they could sooner turn to a dead bug to get better advice then the aging Patriarch of the Saotome clan could give. This wasn't to say he wasn't observant, because he was. The life of a Martial Artist, especially one so tuned to the thieving skills such as his, required you to always watch out for the perfect 'opportunity' or the 'easy score'. Which was why he immediately took notice of the strange glances his best buddy and wife were giving each other as he sat at the table.

"Soun.." he glanced to his friend. Nodoka wouldn't hear, she was too busy talking with Akane and the human tank.

"Hmm? What is it Saotome?" Soun stuttered nervously.

"Next time tell me your teaching my wife Anything Goes!" Genma scolded, giving his friend a serious look, "For gods sake Soun! I'm her husband, not a ruffian! I need to know just how dangerous she is at all times!"

Soun let out a relieved breath. For a second there, he feared Genma had figured out their little secret, "Ah, quite right Saotome. I'll remember that in the future."

Genma grunted in response.

"It's nice to see you again Ryoga-kun! It's been ages! Where have you been?" Akane gave one of her old friends a smile. She had truly missed him these last few years.

"Ah.. hehe." Ryoga chuckled nervously. He didn't want to explain the exact details of his trip, lest the certain fact he had been searching for a cure to his piggy curse come to light. Nope, Akane still didn't know about P-chan, which was a blessing the Lost Man was grateful for.

"Come now, Ryoga-kun. No need to be modest. " Nodoka scolded gently, smiling at her sons best friend, "I want to hear all about your trips."

Tofu sat down at the table, but remained quite. After a long days work with his Practice, he always enjoyed just listening to people talk about their daily lives. It was a way for him to unwind.

"Heh... I haven't done anything special, really." he stressed. God how he hated being the focus of the talks. "Just a little bit of traveling, mainly."

Nodoka took a bite out of a rice ball, one of the only condiments Kasumi was allowing them to eat for the moment. The boy seemed quite content with keeping his travels a mystery; she didn't see a desperate need to pry into his affairs. Noticing an extra plate at the table, she asked, "Kasumi dear. Is there someone else coming?"

Kasumi nodded, "Oh yes. A very special guest."

Soun blinked, "Oh? Anyone we know?"

"You could say that, yes." the pregnant woman responded cryptically.

Akane grinned, "Ohhh! A secret guest! Can we take a guess?"

"Ah.." Kasumi began, thankfully being interrupted by a knock at the door. "That should be him now."

Nodoka blinked, "He?" she sounded thoroughly scandalized for some reason that was lost on everyone present, except for Tofu, who just frowned seriously.

Ranma felt butterflies in his stomach as he knocked on the door to a home he hadn't returned to in over four years. After all that time, he was coming home, only this time he was bringing his fiancée with him. How would they react after so much time? How would they take news of his new engagement, one he had every intention of fulfilling. Would they understand? Or would they curse him for doing this? So many questions.

"Ranma?" Alex looked at him in concern. He was nervously checking over his attire, smoothing his shirt down when he didn't need to and hopping from foot to foot as they waited for some one to answer the door.

"Uh.. sorry."

"Relax. It's going to fine." she offered soothingly, "There’s nothing to worry about."

"Hehe..." Ranma gave her a smile full of confidence he didn't really feel. Nothing to worry about? Pfeh. It was never that easy with his family and friends.

Alex looked ready to say something, but stopped when the door opened and an obviously pregnant young woman stepped out.

"Kasumi." Ranma said with a smile.

"Damn chica. We warned you to take the peanuts out of the bag first." Ace replied with a tired frown. They had just landed and went to get Charlotte, only to find the harpy sprawled out on the ground moaning in pain, the remains of the crate of peanuts laying haphazardly around her.

Penny face palmed, groaning, "Great. Just great." she sighed, "Ace? Do you know anyone in Japan who can do an emergency stomach pump?"

Ace snorted, "Girl, I'm a pilot, not some Japan local! How the heck should I know?"

"Oooh.. Penny.. my tummy hurts." Charlotte groaned, "Peanuts.. taste so good.."
