Ranma blanched, his back popping with each overpowered squeeze of the pregnant woman's hug, "Argh.. everythin's goin dark!"
Alex smiled, watching the little melodrama play out. She had listened to her fiancée explain about many people from his past, and from the stories she heard of this Kasumi person, she knew the woman was one of the few people Ranma actually called friends and liked.
Kasumi blinked, for the first time noticing the upright cat-monster standing next to them. "Um.. Ranma, who's this?" she asked nicely. Well, at least the cat-monster knew how to dress traditionally! That purple Kimono was so kawaii on her.
Ranma coughed, catching his breath. "Ah, Alex, this is Kasumi. Kas-chan, this is Alex.. my fiancée."
Alex smiled brightly, bowing, "Please to meet you Tendo-san."
Kasumi blinked, repeating, "Fiancée?" She smiled slowly. "That's... nice." she said in a tone of apprehension.
"Ah.. heh." Ranma winced, "Sorry Kasumi. I shoulda told you I was bringin some one ta dinner."
Kasumi stared at Alex, eyes wide.
"Yes, were sorry." Alex squirmed under the woman's gaze, feeling a tab bit uncomfortable. It couldn't be that big of a problem, could it?
"Something wrong, Kas-chan?"
"Ah.." Kasumi startled, shaking herself out of her stupor, "No Ranma-kun.. it's just.."
"Kasumi dear? Who is it?" the soft if masculine voice of Tofu called from the house.
"I'll be right in dear!" she called, turning back to the others, "Well, do come in."

On the way to the dining room, Kasumi remained the epitome of calm on the outside; on the inside she was fretting and twisting her apron in nervousness. Ranma had come home, bringing a fiancée no less! What are the odds he would chose this night of all nights to do something like this? What are the odds his mother and Ryoga would show up for dinner as well? Oh dear, this could turn into such a mess!
Everyone present raised their heads when she entered the room; eyes alighted on her for a very brief moment before they caught sight of the two people entering behind her. More appropriately, caught sight of Ranma as he entered. The woman's presence was noted, but everyone ignored her for the most part in favor of the pigtailed man.
"RANMA!" "BOY" "MY SON!" came numerous shouts from those seated at the table, but it was Ryoga's shout and action that took everyone by surprise.
Ryoga jumped straight up, growling, "Saotome!"
Ranma blinked, noticing quite a few people present he hadn't been expecting. When Ryoga grabbed him by the shoulders, a sinister smirk grew on the pigtailed man's face. "Heya Ryoga."
Ryoga snarled, "Did you do it?!"
"Yep!"
"Arrrgh!" Ryoga scowled, before sneering evilly, "I want proof!"
Ranma shrugged, grabbed Alex by the hand and dragged her in front of Ryoga. Now that attention had been cast on the woman, numerous stares of disbelief and some of shock registered on their faces.
Ryoga blinked, his seemingly angry visage draining from him as he stared at the white tiger girl. "Uh.. Jusenkyo?"
Alex blushed. She hadn't expected to be put under the spot light so soon, and now that she had she found herself at a loss for words. "Ah..heh.. no."
"Whatever." Ryoga snorted, seeming to dismiss the matter of her appearance entirely, "Well, is it true?!" he snarled again dangerously.
Alex spared Ranma a glance. What the hell was this guy asking of her? Seeing her fiancée nod, she hesitantly replied, "Yyes."
"Damn it!" Ryoga cursed, digging through his pockets until he pulled out a large bundle of yen notes and tossing it angrily at Ranma, the boy catching it casually and thumbing through the leafs of yen.
"Heh." Ranma replied with a grin. He hadn't been expecting Ryoga to show up for awhile; still, it was nice to get paid. "That's right. I win the bet!"
Alex blinked, "Bet?"
Akane looked to say something, but Ryoga beat her to the punch. "Pfeh. I made a bet with that idiot months ago. If I could get my license before he learned how to fly, I'd win, and vice versa."
Ranma chuckled, "Couldn't find the DMV?"
"No! I would have if those stupid kids and that damn dog hadn't moved it!" he growled.
Akane sweat dropped, "Ah.." she shook her head, "Ranma!"
Alex growled mentally, "I met the man I love because of some stupid bet?!?"
Ranma slid up to Alex, pressing the wad of yen into her hands, whispering, "Here Alex. Save this for me, will yah? Donation to the honeymoon."
Genma growled. "Boy! Stop whispering to that woman and answer my questions!"
Nodoka nodded slowly, "Yes, my son. Just where have you been all this time?"
Tofu leaned back, relaxing. Ahh, the return of chaos to his home. He wouldn't admit it to anyone, but watching the antics of Ranma and the rest of the loonies always brought a smile to his face. Why pay a few thousand yen for a movie ticket to some action packed movie like the Matrix, when you can see it all free right in your very own home! He made a mental note to pull out his insurance policy.
Ranma sighed, "Can we wait until after dinner before the questions start flying? Please? Kasumi put a lot of work into making dinner." he motioned towards the massive amount of culinary dishes.
Kasumi smiled suddenly. No one had ever deferred to her food instead of fighting in well.. ever! Will miracles never cease!

"What do you mean, "We don't treat freaks of natures or Gaijins! Call the Nerima district!"." Penny screeched into the phone, before slamming it down when the other end hung up on her.
Ace sighed, "Girl, calm down. Can yah blame then any? It's not like they see a lot of harpies around here, y'know?"
Charlotte whimpered, "Peeeeenny! My stomach won't stop hurting!" she whined like a child.
Penny growled, "Damn it." flipping through the phonebook. If you couldn't beat them, join em. Look out Nerima doctors, here comes Penny Pinser!"
"Hmm. Doctor Ono Tofu.."
